The Far South Coast Cricket Association has pleasure in announcing the teams and grades for the coming season with play from October 2008 through to April 2009.
At the recent general meeting of the association members voted in favour of a resolution to increase the number of A Grade teams from four to eight.
Teams nominated for the upcoming A Grade season are Eden CC, Pambula CC, Merimbula CC, Bega Angledale CC, Tathra CC, Cobargo CC, Bermagui CC and Dalmeny CC.
The association executive would like to thank all club members for their positive acceptance of this proposal as recommended by the executive.
This new format for the A grade competition will put some variety back into the competition and give our up and coming young cricketers improved experience and strengthen the cricket played on the Far South Coast.
The Executive Committee as decided at the recent AGM is Steve Parker, president and registrar; Dick Blacka vice president; Matt Corbett treasurer and John Reynolds secretary.
The executive would like to thank Drew Mudaliar for his three years of service to the association as treasurer who resigned due to his work and family commitments and he will stay very involved with cricket in his position of president at the Eden CC.
The teams in the B grade competition are Pambula CC, Eden CC, Tathra CC; Bega/Angledale CC Kameruka CC, Wyndham CC, Bemboka CC.
C Grade teams are Eden CC, Bega/Angledale CC, Pambula Blue Heelers, Pambula Red Heelers, Merimbula CC, Wolumla CC, Tathra CC, Bermagui CC, Cobargo CC, Bemboka CC Wyndham CC and Kameruka CC.
The draw will be circulated in the next few days now the make up of the competition teams has been finalised.
