10/09/2008 | Rugby League This Saturday, September 13 sees end of the 2008 Group 16 Junior Rugby League season with Narooma hosting the grand finals.
10/09/2008 | Tennis The battle for supremacy continued on Saturday in the Far South Coast Tennis Association Spring competition with all players enjoying a hectic day’s tennis. The Bega courts were set alight by some blistering tennis from the Merimbula teams, all of whom came away with victories. The Merimbula Sharkies, led by Gabby Beaumont, defeated the Tathra Surfers in a close affair – 39 games to 34.

The Mini’s played in the Annual Mini Carnival with the rest of the Junior Doggies travelling away for their final game. Under 13’s travelled to Bega while the rest of the club played at Cobargo.
